If you’d like to move your server from your personal space to your workspace to take advantage of RunCloud’s advanced team and role management system – here’s how:

Locate the server you wish to move from your personal space to your workspace:

Once located in your list of servers, click on the server name to navigate to the server dashboard. From there, head to the Settings page, as shown below:

In the Danger Zone, you’ll locate the Transfer Server option.

To initiate the transfer process, simply click “Transfer Your Server to Another RunCloud Account”.

This will take you to a new page where you can provide details about the server transfer.

On this screen, switch to the “To Other Workspace” tab and select the target Workspace from the dropdown menu, as shown below:

Finally, click the “Transfer” button at the bottom of the page to initiate the transfer process. It usually takes less than five seconds to complete and won’t impact any web applications running on your server.

Note: Although RunCloud does not allow you to share resources such as API keys between your workspace and personal space for security reasons, it does allow you to migrate servers without disrupting your web applications.
