At RunCloud, we strongly recommend using a unique password for each of your websites. However, if you manage multiple WordPress websites, it is quite easy to lose track of passwords for each of these sites.
RunCloud allows you to configure your password during site creation, although there is always an option to reset the password for your WordPress dashboard.
However, RunCloud provides a better and more secure way – WordPress Magic Login.
WordPress Magic Link Login allows RunCloud users to log in to their WordPress dashboard securely without needing a password.
To configure this, you first need to install the RunCloud Hub plugin on your WordPress website by navigating to the RunCloud Hub panel in the left menu.
After you have configured the RunCloud Hub plugin on your site, you can scroll to the bottom of the RunCloud Hub settings page to find the “Magic Link Login” section.
In this section you will find the account details of the administrator of the website.
To log in as the specified user, click on the “Login as” button next to the name.
Once you click on this button, you will be automatically logged in to the WordPress dashboard via the selected account.
