If you’d like to cancel your RunCloud subscription and delete your account, we’ll be so sorry to see you go. We hope that you have contacted our customer support and discussed your concerns.
Account deletion has a 30 day waiting period. If you are in a hurry, you can contact our support team to speed this up for you.
When you delete your account, you will lose access to all of the features and services that RunCloud provides. This means that:
- All your servers and backups connected to your RunCloud account will be deleted from the RunCloud panel.
- If you delete your RunCloud account, your backups stored outside of RunCloud storage will not be deleted, but you will not be able to restore them or access them through RunCloud anymore.
- Deleting your RunCloud account does not affect your cloud provider account or your servers on the cloud provider side. They will continue to run and consume resources, and the cloud provider will continue to charge you until you terminate all resources. Therefore, if you want to stop paying for your servers, you will have to delete them from the cloud provider side, not just from the RunCloud panel. You can do this by logging in to your cloud provider account and following their instructions.
- Your web applications and databases will not be deleted from your servers, but they will not have the RunCloud backup and Atomic Deployment features. You will have to back up and deploy them manually, or use another tool.
- Your team members will not be able to access or manage your servers or web applications through RunCloud. You will have to revoke their privileges or use another tool.
If you are completely clear on the effects of deleting your account, then to begin the process, head over to your RunCloud account settings by clicking the Settings menu item in the sidebar menu, as shown below:
Or alternatively, by clicking Settings in your user menu:
Once in your settings, make sure you’re in your Profile settings (this is where you’ll be taken by default), and then scroll to the bottom of this page, where you’ll see the Danger Zone:
To proceed with account deletion, click Delete Account.
► Important: Once confirmed, this process can no longer be reversed.
