RunCloud is a cloud-based server management platform that helps developers manage their web applications on any cloud server. But RunCloud is not just for solo developers. It also supports team collaboration through one of its key features – Teams.
RunCloud Teams allows you to create different teams with different roles and permissions for your projects. You can invite other people to join your teams and assign them to specific servers. You can also control what they can see and do on your RunCloud dashboard.
You can create as many teams as you need, and customize their permissions according to your needs. For example, you can create a team for your developers who need full access to the server and web applications, a team for your clients who only need to see the web application details and logs, and a team for your freelancers who only need to work on specific web applications.
How to Create Teams on RunCloud
To create a team, go to your RunCloud dashboard and click on the Teams tab. Then click on the Create Team button and enter a name for your team, such as Dev Team. Then click on the Create Team button again.
Once you have created a team, you can add new members to it by clicking on the Add Member button and entering their email address.
You can also connect the team to a server by clicking on the Connect Server button and selecting the server you want to assign to the team. You can also edit or delete the team by clicking on the Edit or Delete button.
When a team member logs in with their email address, they will only see and be able to access those features that are allowed by their role. This way, you can ensure that your team members only have the access they need – and nothing more.
RunCloud Teams is a great feature for agencies who have multiple people working on different projects, or companies who want to give their customers access without compromising security.
RunCloud Teams is only available on the Business plan, but you don’t have to pay anything extra for adding multiple team members, and you can add as many teams as you want.
