AI Monitoring Terms of Service

Last Updated: 23 June 2026

Effective Date: 23 June 2026

These Terms supplement the RunCloud Terms of Service and apply specifically to your use of RunCloud AI Monitoring. In the event of any conflict, these Terms govern with respect to your use of RunCloud AI Monitoring.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RunCloud AI Monitoring ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

By accepting these Terms, you authorize RunCloud Sdn. Bhd. to access and process relevant system and operational data on your server as necessary to provide the Service, including the use of artificial intelligence to analyze system behavior, detect anomalies, and generate insights and recommendations.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RunCloud AI Monitoring is an AI-powered server monitoring and diagnostics solution that provides:

  • Real-time infrastructure monitoring (CPU, memory, disk, processes, logs)
  • Anomaly detection using behavioral baselines, thresholds, and forecasting
  • AI-generated analysis, explanations, and recommendations
  • Smart alerting and notification systems

The Service operates as a read-only observability and advisory system and does not automatically modify your infrastructure.

3. Artificial Intelligence and Output Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence technologies to analyze system data and generate insights and recommendations.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect.
  • Outputs are provided for informational and advisory purposes only.
  • The Service does not replace human judgment or professional expertise.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and deciding whether to act on any recommendation.

You must not rely on AI-generated output as the sole basis for:

  • Production-critical decisions
  • Security actions
  • Infrastructure changes

4. Data Handling

4.1 Data Access and Processing. Monitoring data is processed to operate the Service. Monitoring and analysis data remains primarily stored on your server and is not transferred in its entirety to external systems. Where AI analysis is required to provide the Service, only the minimum relevant information necessary to generate the appropriate analysis, recommendation, or insight is transmitted.

Such data may include:

  • System performance metrics (such as CPU, memory, disk, network, and load)
  • Process and service information
  • System logs, including diagnostic events
  • Technical metadata necessary to provide the Service

All data access and processing is limited to what is reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and provide the Service.

4.2 Data Storage, Retention, and Security. Monitoring and analysis data is stored only when an event or anomaly requiring AI analysis is detected, allowing historical analysis and recommendations to be viewed within the Service. Such data is retained for 30 days, after which it is automatically removed.

The Service is designed to ensure that information prepared for AI analysis excludes unnecessary sensitive information, with only the minimum relevant information transmitted.

The Service is designed with the following security principles:

  • Read-only monitoring
  • Read-only execution of diagnostic commands
  • Secure authentication and request validation
  • Rate limiting and abuse protection
  • Data minimization and redaction of unnecessary sensitive information before transmission
  • Encryption of data in transit
  • Encryption of stored data, where applicable

5. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party service providers to operate and deliver certain functionality, including AI processing services provided by OpenAI.

By using the Service:

  • You consent to the processing of the minimum relevant information by such providers only as necessary to operate and deliver the Service.
  • Any information transmitted for AI processing is used solely to provide the requested AI functionality and is not used to train or improve OpenAI's foundation models.
  • You acknowledge that such providers may have their own terms, privacy policies, and security practices.

While RunCloud carefully selects its service providers, we are not responsible for interruptions, errors, or the data handling practices of such providers.

6. Availability and Changes

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

While we strive to maintain reliable and secure operation of the Service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free performance. The Service, including any AI-generated output, may contain inaccuracies, delays, or omissions.

7. No Automated Execution Guarantee

The Service:

  • Does not execute commands automatically.
  • Does not modify your system.
  • Only provides recommendations, which may include suggested commands.

You are solely responsible for any actions taken on your systems.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

While we strive to provide accurate and useful AI-generated insights and recommendations, we do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and determining the appropriateness of any AI-generated output before applying it to your systems.

Before implementing any recommendation or making changes to your infrastructure, you should take appropriate precautions, such as creating backups, duplicating configurations, or taking other measures necessary to protect your systems and data.

9. Termination and Opt-Out

You may stop using the Service at any time.

The Service can be disabled or removed through the same interface used to install and manage it within your dashboard. Disabling or uninstalling the Service will stop further monitoring, data collection, and AI analysis associated with your servers.

As part of the uninstallation process, the Service removes its monitoring and analysis data, along with Service-related files and configuration, from your server.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
